Aransas Pass Police Department
ARANSAS PASS, TEXAS (News Release) - On Friday, June 14, 2024, around 10:27 am., Aransas Pass emergency services were notified of a missing person. Brandon Keith Felkins, age 35, was last heard from around 10 pm on Thursday, June 13.
While investigating this event, Aransas Pass Police Department (APPD) learned that a dredging crew found a boat washed on the shore of Dagger Island in Aransas Pass around 6:30 am on Friday. The boat contained Brandon's phone and headphones. According to his phone, Brandon's last location was Harbor Island near the Brown and Root flats.
The United States Coastal Guard (USCG) joined APPD in the search along with the Texas Parks and Wildlife (TPWD) wardens.
