Corpus Christi Fugitive Arrested

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — (News Release) On Oct. 30th, wanted fugitive Izaiah Salinas was apprehended by authorities in the Corpus Christi area. Salinas was a passenger in a vehicle driven by his mother, Irene Torres.

Law enforcement officers took Salinas into custody without incident, and he was subsequently transported to the Nueces County Jail, where he is currently being held.

Irene Torres, who was driving the vehicle, was also arrested on charges of harboring a fugitive. Torres has been booked into the Nueces County Jail alongside her son.

Both individuals are currently awaiting further legal proceedings.

The Alice Police Department would like to thank the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Ranger Robert Montalvo, Corpus Christi Police Department, Duval County Sheriff's Department, Robstown Police Department, Jim Wells Pct 1 Constable Albert Martinez and the Jim Wells County Sheriff's Department.
