CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – (News Release) Beginning Thursday, August 22, access to Harry Street from Everhart Road will be closed to all traffic. The intersection is expected to remain closed through Thursday, August 29.

A detailed map is attached to visually represent the road work and traffic flow adjustments.    

The Everhart Road Project, which extends from South Padre Island Drive to South Alameda Street, is expected to be completed in late fall 2026.

Safety remains a top priority, and motorists are advised to use alternative routes to avoid delays, remain aware of the work zone, and follow posted signs.
