Gas Leak Near Driscoll

DRISCOLL (News Release) - On Friday, August 18, 2023, at approximately 4:37 p.m. members of the Nueces County E.S.D 3 fire department (ESD 3) and Nueces County Constable Precinct 3 deputies responded to a call near Driscoll on F.M. 665 between CR 75 and CR 79 in reference to a gas leak.

A white cloud of smoke was reported coming from the ground in a field.
Upon arriving, ESD3 determined the smoke to be from a high-pressure gas line leaking into the atmosphere.
Employees with the company who handle the area pipelines arrived and worked on the problem.
There were no traffic delays in the area.
