KINGSVILLE (News Release) - City of Kingsville Municipal Court Clerk, Victoria Butler, stated that there are 12,988 outstanding warrants as of February 06, 2023. Those warrants are equivalent to $3,850,768.74 in fines and fees that are outstanding. Affected persons are urged to contact the appropriate jurisdiction or jurisdictions during the next two weeks to dispose of their cases voluntarily to avoid the inconvenience and embarrassment of arrest at home or work in front of family, friends, or co-workers.
The City of Kingsville Municipal Court Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Appear at City of Kingsville Municipal Court, located in Municipal Building at 200 E. Kleberg during business hours. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Make full payment by money order or cashier check via the drop box in front of Municipal Building.
Citizens are encouraged to contact the City of Kingsville Municipal Court at 200 E. Kleberg regarding any warrants or outstanding fines during the grace period. The City of Kingsville Police Department will be serving the outstanding warrants during “ENFORCEMENT WEEK.” Police Chief Ricardo Torres is alerting our citizens that the officers of KPD will be going to residences as well as businesses to serve the outstanding warrants during the enforcement phase and will continue to do the same during targeted enforcement periods.
The statewide roundup is designed to target thousands of defendants with traffic, parking, city ordinance, penal code and higher charge warrants for participating jurisdictions. It is believed to be the largest joint operation of its kind with arrests expected to continue for several days.
The City of Kingsville Municipal Court and the City of Kingsville Police Department announce their participation in the 2023 GREAT TEXAS WARRANT ROUNDUP which will begin Monday, February 20th, 2023, and ends on Saturday, March 11th, 2023.
Listed below are the phases of this roundup:
The first phase began on Monday, February 20th and ends Friday, March 3rd, 2023. The first phase will consist of a grace period. During this time, anyone with outstanding warrants is encouraged to pay their fines at the City of Kingsville Municipal Court at 200 E. Kleberg, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The second phase, which begins Saturday, March 4th and ends on Saturday, March 11th, 2023, is ENFORCEMENT WEEK. During these two weeks, individuals will be rounded up and taken to jail or if court is in session, they will be brought to the court to address the outstanding warrants before the Municipal Court Judge.
The final phase is the service of outstanding warrants during targeted enforcement days throughout the remainder of 2023.
The City of Kingsville website, located at www.cityofkingsville.com, also has a portal should a citizen wish to pay a ticket/citation or a warrant online. Citizens can Access the City of Kingsville website and at the top center choose the option for “Pay Ticket.” The website will direct you to another webpage where searches for tickets/citations or tickets/citations that have turned into warrants can be performed by citizens using either their Texas Driver’s License number or the original ticket/citation number. The fines associated with those tickets/citations/warrants can be paid using a credit card and a printable electronic receipt is provided at the time of payment should it be needed for verification later.
