City of Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI (News Release) – October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Since 1985, individuals, businesses, and communities have come together every October to show their support for the many people affected by breast cancer. Therefore, the City of Corpus Christi Employee, Benefits and Wellness Team, and Assured Imaging will partner for a three-day Mobile Mammogram event from Tuesday, October 18, through Thursday, October 20.

Employees, spouses, and the public can schedule appointments. Walk-ins are welcome.

On-site Mobile Mammogram Screening Event Sites include:

  • Event 1: Tuesday, October 18, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Corpus Christi Police Department, 321 John Sartain Street

  • Event 2: Tuesday, October 18, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Corpus Christi Utilities, 2726 Holly Road

  • Event 3: Wednesday, October 19, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the City Hall parking lot on the Staples Street side, 1201 Leopard Street

  • Event 4: Thursday, October 20, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health Department, 1702 Horne Road

Participants should:

  • Bring an insurance card

  • All major insurance accepted

  • Bring a picture ID

  • Referrals not necessary

  • Results sent to patient and primary care provider
