Nueces County Precinct Five Constable

ROBSTOWN (News Release) - In the early morning hours of November 11, 2022, Nueces County Precinct Five Deputy Constables attempted to serve an arrest warrant on Michael Gomez who was believed to be in a residence located in the 800 block of Garcia Street in Robstown.

Once discovered, Gomez ignored verbal commands and escaped out of the residence. Deputies pursued Gomez and caught him as he was attempting to climb the fence.

Gomez was taken into custody and transported to the Nueces County Jail for booking.

Michael Gomez had an active arrest warrant out of the 319th District Court for Assault Causes SBI, Aggravated Assault w/Deadly Weapon, and Evading Arrest w/Motor Vehicle.

In addition to the warrents, Gomez was also charged with Resisting Arrest and Evading Arrest/Detention.
