Traffic Stop Made by Precinct Five Constable Results in Drug Arrests

 

Nueces County Precinct Five Constable

ROBSTOWN (News Release) - During the late evening hours of Wednesday November 8,2023, Nueces County Precinct Five Constable made a traffic stop on Northwest Boulevard for a traffic violation.

During the traffic stop, thirty-seven-year-old John Moreno from Robstown was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. Moreno also had an outstanding warrant out of Bee County and was taken into custody and charged with felony possession and transported to the county jail.

Also, during the early morning hours of Thursday, November 9, 2023, deputies made a traffic stop on a dark color Chevrolet Impala occupied by two males. During the traffic stop, the passenger, thirty-year-old Joshua Leverett was found in possession of a controlled substance. Leverett was also detained and transported to the county jail and booked on felony charges of possession of a controlled substance.
