Sergeant Blue Santa Claus Greet Students by Helicopter
BISHOP - On Wednesday December 20, 2023, Nueces County Constable’s Office Precinct 3, the Bishop Police Department, and Nueces County Emergency Service District 3, took part in the annual Blue Santa event.
Sergeant Blue Santa Claus left his sleigh at the North Pole and decided to greet the boys and girls by helicopter with pilot Todd LeVan of LeVan Aviation. Their first stop was at Petronila Elementary School, followed by Bishop Primary School, and Bishop Elementary.
Sergeant Claus then went to Bishop High School stadium and was greeted by the students from the Bishop Adaptive Education classes.

It was reported by Bishop Police Department that “Sgt. Claus then reported for duty at the Bishop Police Department, where he will begin looking over his lists and checking it twice, to find out who has been naughty or nice. While also beginning preparations for our annual Operation Blue Santa Toy Giveaway and Christmas Deliveries.”
