Shooting in Bishop

BISHOP - (News Release) At approximately 1:00AM on Sunday, February 27, 2022, Bishop Police Department and Nueces County Sheriff’s Office patrol units responded to reports of a male subject shot on U.S. Highway 77 South and FM 70, in Bishop, Texas.
Upon arrival officers made contact with an adult male subject who was bleeding from an apparent gunshot wound. The male victim was transported by EMS to an area hospital.
Responding officers located and secured multiple crime scenes, until investigators arrived. Bishop P.D. (C.I.D) detectives responded to the scene to take over the investigation.
This is an active and on-going criminal investigation and no further details will be released at this time.
