Wanted Robstown Man Found in Mexico

ROBSTOWN (News Release) - 61-year-old Cleto Vasquez III was arrested in Nuevo Leon Mexico for the 2015 Murder of 37-year-old Daniel Torres which occurred on the 900 block of Indiana Street in Robstown.

Vasquez had been on the run since July 4, 2015, after several men and Torres were involved in an altercation in the back yard of a residence that led to Vasquez chasing and running Torres down with his Pick-up truck and then proceeded to stab and kill him.
Robstown Police Detectives state that Vasquez is currently being held by Mexican authorities awaiting extradition to the Nueces County Jail where he will be held on a $200,000.00 bond pending trial.
