The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department announced the completion of the Parker Park Dog Park, a highly anticipated amenity to Parker Park, located at 654 Graham Road. The dog park will open on Saturday, February 22, at 7:30 a.m.
All dog owners are invited to bring their furry friends to the dog park, where they can run leash-free within the gated facility and play in this unique park designed just for them. The park offers a small and large dog section, amenities such as a decorative fire hydrant, boulder climber, along with a bench for park visitors.
The hours of operation are Tuesday, 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Wednesday to Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The dog park is closed on Mondays for maintenance. This $297,000 project is the City’s fifth dog park and joins West Guth Dog Park, located at 9700 Up River Road, Bill Witt Dog Park, located at 6869 Yorktown Boulevard, the Vishal Bhagat Dog Park at The Water’s Edge, located at 402 S. Shoreline Boulevard, and the Sherwood Dog Park, located at 4314 Sherwood Drive.
